  • Scale up without the math

Choose how many of each size to make, and we work out the grams of every ingredient. Fill your 30 ml and 50 ml from the same mix.

  • Your formulas stay yours

Every change is saved as a version, and you choose which one goes into production. Only the people you invite can see your formulas, and you decide what each person can do.

What each formula costs

Add what you paid for each ingredient. Each formula shows its cost per kg or lb, its cost per unit and how many you can make. Change an amount and the numbers update.

Numbers you can check

We record every change, and what caused it

Deliveries, production, sales and counts all show in the history, so you can see why any number changed.

Past batches keep their cost

When a supplier raises a price, the batches you've already made keep the cost they had.

Questions

What kinds of products is liquidMath for?

Skincare, body care, cosmetics, hair care and grooming products you make yourself, in batches of a few hundred to a few thousand units.

Does it connect to Shopify?

Yes. It uses your orders to see how fast each product sells, and lowers your stock as orders ship. It can also send your stock back to Shopify, product by product, if you turn that on.

What about wholesale and market orders?

Enter them as sales, and we take them out of your inventory the same way as Shopify orders. Before you agree to a large order, a product's page shows how many you can make. Type the number you need, and it shows what you'd have to buy. Only Shopify orders come in on their own.

Can we bring our existing spreadsheets?

Yes. You can import your ingredients, suppliers, formulas, products and what you have today from CSV files. We check every row before we save anything. You can export everything back to CSV too.

Can production staff use it on a tablet?

Yes. The weighing screen shows one phase at a time, with the grams in large type, so your team can read it from across the bench.

Do the higher plans have more features?

No. Every plan includes everything liquidMath does. The plans differ only in how many active products you have and, on Starter, how many batches you run a month.

Does liquidMath make us MoCRA compliant?

No. Compliance is yours, and liquidMath files nothing with the FDA. It keeps the records: every batch, the ingredient lots that went into it, and the products each lot went into.

Does it replace our accounting software?

No, and it doesn't sync with QuickBooks or Xero. It exports cost of goods sold and stock value for any period as CSV files for your bookkeeper.

Does it handle several warehouses, or contract manufacturing for other brands?

No. liquidMath tracks one stock location, for brands that make their own products.
